Coming back from America I didn't know who it was when I auditioned for the 2nd TOUR.
It was them, Tohoshinki.

During the tour I learned about a lot of things.
It took 4 years to remember their names.
I always wanted to return to America,
but working with them, my experience in Japan had meaning,
and I could be proud of it.

A lot of laughter, talk and sometimes tears.

[NEWS]Avex may lose five billion yen due to TVXQ’s group hiatus

There’s no doubt that the official news regarding TVXQ’s hiatus in group activities was released on April 4 has been a big blow to Cassiopeians worldwide. However, they aren’t the only ones suffering from the announcement. A recent article in the business section of Sankei Shimbum (a Japanese newspaper) revealed the possible monetary losses that Avex is expected to experience due to TVXQ’s break.

Music critic Tomizawa Issei estimated the Avex’s financial consequences, saying, “Due to TVXQ’s inactivity, [Avex] would lose three to five billion yen in sales. Now the challenge is to decide how to fill in this deficit.” That’s about $32-53 million USD, or 36-60 billion won!

“Avex is very good at selling and discovering artists,” Tomizawa continued. “After the TVXQ disbandment theories began to spread last year, ICONIQ came out and became popular. This time around, there’s tension within the company; perhaps a new artist will be put out [in this time].”

A day after the TVXQ news was released, Avex’s stock prices dropped by 3 yen per share compared to last week’s price of 830 yen.

On the bright side, TVXQ’s popularity hasn’t been hindered by the recent announcement – in the past few months, the group has broken records held by Billy Joel, Elton John and Bon Jovi in Japan. It’s only been a few days since the hiatus news was announced, but more than six thousand messages of support have been sent from Korea, Japan and the rest of Asia alone. Furthermore, #alwayskeepthefaith even topped the trending topics list on Twitter.

Speaking of Twitter, Avex president Matsuura Masato made a few comments regarding the issue on his Twitter account, musing, “How big would the damage be…” Later, he also said in regards to TVXQ’s Japanese fanclub BigEast, “I do not know if the Korean side will allow us, but I can’t say anything in my current position. I’ll try to have BigEast continue.“

[News] 100407 Yoochun to star in korean drama SungKyunKwan Scandal

As you already know Yoochun is heading to an acting career in Japan.. but not only.
Indeed, TVXQ dandy boy will soon star in a korean drama inspired by a best-selling book “성균관 유생들의 나날”.
The historical drama (sageuk) title is shorten to “SungKyunKwan Scandal” (성균관 스캔들) and Yoochun will have one of the 4 leading roles, he will play Lee SunJoon, a boys who has everything to succeed in life. The story takes place in a high school that accepts only boys, until a girl decides to dress as a boy and pretends to be her own brother so she can go to that school.
With a strong ambition, Yoochun told the press: “I had fun reading the synopsis. I want to meet Sun Joon very soon. I’m honored to play such an interesting character in my first project. I will work hard to greet the viewers with a good project and as a good character.”

[NEWS] Jaejoong’s Japanese drama poster unveiled

Seperti yang kita tahu selama ini, Jaejoong TVXQ main dalam Drama jepang yang berjudul Sunao ni Narenakute / 素直になれなくて / Hard To Say I Love You.
sekarang ini posternya sudah muncul. Poster mengungkapkan lima anggota cast utama: Eita, Ueno Juri, Megumi Seki, Tetsuji Tamayama dan Jaejoong.

On the 24th of March they are releasing their 30th single CD, the song that was in the best album too, “Toki wo tomete”. It was used as a television commercial song. Many fans were waiting for this song to be released. In the intro, it's as if Jaejoong is whispering and Junsu’s beautiful but a bit sad voice heats up the song, when it comes to the bridge of the song, Yoochun’s sexy voice, Yunho’s strong voice, and Changmin’s voice that can become high to low makes the song dramatic.

[NEWS] TVXQ tidak diperkenankan untuk meneruskan kegiatan kelompok!

SM Entertainment akan mengadakan konferensi pers hari ini mengenai konflik dengan TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki.

Pengacara dari SM Entertainment mengatakan:

"Pengadilan yang berkuasa untuk TVXQ tidak adil. Mereka tidak mempertimbangkan alasan utama dari kasus ini. Aturan di pengadilan berpihak TVXQ

Sebelumnya hari ini, pengadilan telah mengeluarkan putusan yang SM Entertainment tidak dapat mengganggu aktivitas masing-masing dari tiga anggota TVXQ: Hero Jaejoong, Micky YooChun dan Xiah JunSu.

Pada dasarnya, SM Entertainment tidak dapat lagi mengklaim eksklusivitas penuh pada tiga anggota TVXQ. Namun, pengadilan tidak dapat memutuskan apakah kontrak tidak valid pada saat ini karena ada terlalu banyak variabel.

Sebagai tanggapan, SM Entertainment telah mengungkapkan bahwa mereka akan segera mengajukan banding terhadap putusan. UKM juga akan mengadakan konferensi pers resmi untuk mengungkapkan kebenaran dan posisi mereka mengenai masalah ini, yang tidak pernah diungkapkan kepada media sebelumnya.

Penggemar korea mungkin tidak dapat melihat anak-anak dari TVXQ di panggung bersama untuk sementara waktu karena ini mengumumkan bahwa mereka tidak akan tampil di Dream Concert. Namun, para penggemar di Jepang cukup beruntung untuk menyaksikan anak laki-laki bersama di a-nation '09 . Mereka tampil hits Stand by U dan Survivor - memamerkan mereka vokal dan menari.
